Craft Circle

Our craft circle is aimed at getting creative people in the city together to make stuff in a laid-back, fun and judgement-free space. Absolutely everyone is welcome; from seasoned makers to those who haven’t picked up a crayon since childhood.

Bring your embroidery kit/clay toolbox/Copic markers/sewing machine/whatever creative thing you’re working on and join us at The Ladder on Bree Street at 6pm. The circle is open on the first and second Wednesday of every month and there is no commitment required; join us whenever you feel like it!

The Ladder is a beautiful and roomy venue, where social distancing protocol can be followed. Entrance includes a hot drink of your choice, and an evening of uninterrupted crafting bliss (priceless tbh).

Craft circles are hosted by Andie Reeves, teacher, textile artist and owner of the Cape Town Craft Club.

Join us if you
  • want to meet other cool people who make stuff
  • want to commit to making time to be creative and make more
  • want to spend time with your friend(s) in a new, fun way
  • need some guidance or input on a creative project
  • would like to work amongst others who inspire and encourage you
  • are keen to join a community of local makers
  • crave a creative outlet
  • just want to spend a few hours creating something beautiful with your hands
